2 cups pretzels or pretzel sticks
12 tablespoons butter, melted
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup plus 1/4 cup peanut butter, divided
1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
Crush pretzels until finely chopped. Stir together butter, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of the peanut butter. Fold in the crushed pretzels and spread in a 9 by 13 pan.
Melt remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave safe bowl, stirring until smooth. Spread over the pretzel layer. Refrigerate 1 hour, then cut into bars and serve.
If desired, you can drizzle caramel sauce over the chocolate layer.
